The Creative Learning & Play afterschool program (CL& P) provides families with affordable high quality out-of-school services in a safe enriching environment. We offer an inclusive afterschool program throughout the school year. Our main goal is to improve health and well being by increasing self-esteem and attitudes toward learning. Activities include reading tutoring, FCAT practice, homework assistance, social skills development, nutrition, fitness, recreation, and special interest classes. All children in grades K - 8 are welcome to attend.

*Child must be in kindergarten.

Bright Park, 750 East 35th Street
Casas Park, 7900 West 32nd Avenue
Cotson Park, 520 West 23rd Street
Goodlet Adult Center, 900 West 44th Place
Hoffman Gardens Center, 7650 West 44th Place Southeast Park, 1015 Southeast 9th Avenue
Walker Park, 800 West 29th Street
 
Hours: 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm School Days
7:30 am - 6:30 pm Teacher Planning Days
 
Fees: $$30.00 registration fee for all sites
All sites have a weekly fee of $5.00 for Hialeah residents $20 weekly fee for non-residents
$5.00 late fee at 6:31p.m. per family. For each additional 15 minutes, $5.00 will be charged
A 10% discount will be given for a second child from the same family

The City of Hialeah's Creative Learning and Play afterschool program is funded in part by The Children’s Trust. The Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County.
